Between April 2020 to October 2020, the Equalities Board (part of GMCVO-led programme, Ambition for Ageing, managed by the LGBT Foundation) took a look at a topic of interest to older people from an equalities perspective. The aim was to show how different forms of discrimination can cross over and create a deeper experience of inequality.
We know from supporting the Equalities Board that age, experience and history can create collective wisdom. So this digest also aims to highlight how marginalised communities respond to discrimination and inequality across four topics; transport, health, housing and the Covid-19 pandemic.
