As part of the Caring, Working, Living project, we developed a three part, simple toolkit of bite sized guides about how to recruit and retain employees requiring flexible working arrangements. Employers and Returners (parents and/or carers that had had a break from paid employment for at least 12 months due to their caring responsibilities) were involved in the development of each section of the toolkit through their input at the Caring, Working, Living Panel and the Breaking Down Barriers workshops.
