This portfolio highlights the different ways the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector is creating a fairer and more inclusive economy in Greater Manchester.
It is part of a series of portfolios produced by GMCVO on behalf of the Inclusive Economy working group of the GM VCSE Leadership group. This is working towards the commitments of the GM VCSE Accord.
Part 2 of the series, Net Zero: A Just Transition, highlights examples of where community organisations and social enterprises in Greater Manchester are carrying out project and activities that contribute to a ‘just transition’. We want to progress towards net zero, but need to do so in a fair and just way, so that inequality within communities is not made worse.
