In this session we will cover what a social purpose business is, how social purposes can make money and breakdown some of the main considerations when it comes to generating trading income.

Free, online drop-in: Greater Manchester-based social enterprises

Wednesday 13th September, Online

This informal online drop-in is a chance to come and meet the Social Enterprise support and Social Investment team at GMCVO.

The team will be on-hand to offer advice and guidance for all things social enterprise; including setting-up, funding, social impact and social investment. So whether it's a quick question, or a more in-depth meeting you're after, drop in at your leisure and they will provide a helping hand, either ourselves or we will signpost you to someone who can help you.

We also offer advice on social investment and what funds are currently available across Greater Manchester.

This is a 90-minute practical learning session to help you understand how to talk about your social impact so that you can apply for social investment.

Our Social Investment team at GMCVO will guide you through some of the language of social impact, the social impact information that we need to see as part of your application and first steps support in helping you build an impact framework.
