GMCVO, in partnership with the GM VCSE Leadership Group, is holding a week of action to showcase the work of the VCSE sector in support of the environment, sustainability and Just Transition. If you play a role in creating a greener and more inclusive economy, you are invited to get involved by hosting an event or activity to share what you do.

GMCVO are working with Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) and the Youth Panel to provide a peer evaluation of the provisions and effectiveness of The Prince’s Trusts Future Workforce Fund which aims to transform the lives of thousands of young people across Greater Manchester.

Greater Manchester's fifth Green Summit will seek input from business, policymakers, local communities and industry on how the city region can rise to key challenges facing it, from implementing new policy and future innovations to industry adaptation and individual lifestyle changes

The System Operational Response Taskforce (SORT) is a new GM structure that will replace the existing Hospital Gold Command and Community Coordination Cell. This new taskforce will oversee system operational response to pressures and the operational delivery of the GM Recovery Strategy.

The GM VCSE Leadership Group are recruiting for a VCSE representative to join this taskforce and are inviting Expressions of Interest from anyone wishing to be considered for the role.

Greater Manchester Social Value Network (GMSVN) has been offered the chance to use the tools and resources from the national Inspiring Impact programme to help organisations in Greater Manchester.

They currently have an opportunity to create 10-15 Inspiring Impact Champions and are inviting expressions of interest from people to participate.

In 2019, more than 5,000 people joined in The Big Alcohol Conversation to share more about the role and impacts of alcohol in their communities.

Now, GMCVO want to check that the findings are still relevant following Covid-19 so we can best prevent alcohol-related harm in Greater Manchester.
