GM BAME Network host 'meet the funder' webinar with Global Majority Fund

On 27th May 2021, the Greater Manchester Black Asian and Minority Ethnic Network hosted an online 'Meet the Funder' session for the Global Majority Fund.

The Global Majority Fund is funded by Comic Relief, with additional contributions from Salford CVS, One Manchester and Trafford Housing Trust. It is administered on behalf of Caribbean & African Health Network (CAHN) by Manchester Community Central (Macc).

For this session, Charles Kwaku-Odoi joined from CAHN alongside Oliver Cranfield from Macc. Both shared information and application tips with attendees joining from across the GM BAME* Network, followed by a Q&A. The session was chaired by the GM BAME Network Chair, Atiha Chaudry.

If you missed the session and would like to catch up, you can do so via our YouTube page:

*GMCVO uses the BAME abbreviation as we believe it is widely understood, but we acknowledge many feel this term is inadequate and limiting. We are therefore reviewing our use of the term. Our principle is to refer to individuals, organisations or networks by the terminology they themselves prefer.
